Welcome to My Queendom!!!!
I thought that I should take some time to tell you a little about who I am, why I became a teacher and my
Personal Philosophy of Education.
"First, you should know that I come in peace and am a humanoid from the planet earth."
I do not have antennas sticking out the back of my head nor was I ever a "Straight A" student. In fact, students who attended
the sixth grade with me would be shocked to learn the I became a teacher. After all I was the "class joke", as I would become
extremely nervous whenever the teacher would ask me to read aloud. School was a struggle for me, but I worked hard and graduated
high school with honors. I continued my education, going to college and then to graduate school where I earned a Master of
Education Degree.
The reason I became a teacher was due to a Middle School Teacher named Mr. Robert O'Neil. He believed
in me, and taught me to believe in myself. I have always felt that if I could help students to realize their special strengths
and talents, they too would be able to overcome their weaknesses and fears.
